how to get 300 million views for your app in 30 days

an app that joined Content Rewards in february just crossed over 830 million views and it's only halfway through june
last month alone they did close to 400 million views and the total spend across ALL the campaigns (830 million views) was only $250,000
and they're on the road to hit a BILLION views in the next 3 weeks
as the CMO of Content Rewards, I've seen multiple apps in completely different niches scale to 6 figure mrr in just 2-3 months
these apps 10xed their revenue in just a month at a fraction of the cost of what they would pay on ads
this is a playbook I've seen replicated across all the campaigns these apps ran, and I'm sharing this with you so you can also achieve the same with your app
so lock in and actually read this article ↓↓↓
build your app around virality
create viral features in your app.
one thing that was common between all the apps that became wildly successful through Content Rewards was that they were built around virality.
they had a moment inside of their app that could be easily understood through a slideshow or screen recording.
for example, Cal AI. You take a picture of your food, and it shows you the amount of calories. that's an aha moment.
a fishing app: you take a picture of the fish you just caught, and it tells you this fish is the top 1% rarest fish to ever catch.
you're doing something, and then your app produces a result.
for example, another app I saw a few days ago; you take a picture of your room, and it designs a better layout for your room.
have a moment in your app that showcases a result that's easily clippable. that's the thing that will make you go viral.
also ask yourself, "how likely are people to pay to know this result/get this outcome" and that's your answer to how successful your app will be.
a famous example of this is the lookmaxing apps. the reason why they went so viral is because it's controversial to rate people like that.
but also all those people wanted to know what they would be rated as, that's why the high conversion rate.

find viral formats
you can read this post to understand how to find viral formats for your app/software if you haven't found viral formats yet.
If you've already found viral formats that are generating you a couple of million views per month, then here's what to look for when you want to scale them through clipping.
the best performing videos/slideshows I've seen look like they took 30 sec to 5 mins to create. a lot of people think is that simple content doesn't convert. that's not the case at all.
simple content looks less ad-like, and it's easier to convert cuz it blends in with the algorithm better, so people think it's a natural recommendation.
it also increases the amount of content you can put out. the easier your content is to create, the more content clippers will be able to post, and the more clippers you will be able to attract.
and way, way, way more chances of you going viral. 2 slide slideshows often have higher conversion rates than your 1-2 min long UGC video.
I recommend hiring a few creators and clippers on your team to test out different angles of content so you can find 10 to 20 viral formats that are easily replicable.
then create a content bank that creators can get a lot of examples from, which brings us down to the next point...
Build the brief like a course
build the brief like a course
the brief is probably the most important part of your campaign.
to get hundreds of millions of views and have thousands and thousands of videos of your brand posted on the internet, with consistent brand message.
you need to create a content brief that is practically a course on how to create content for your app software. not just a requirement list, nobody follows that at mass scale.
And here is how you should do that
a) content bank
create a content bank of all the viral formats that you found and we talked about above.
here is an example content bank I built out for you guys that you can copy and paste and replace with your data: fishing App Content Bank
name the format
give example posts

link the music that will be used in the video (this is important because viral songs tend to boost videos more)
gives context on what's happening in the video or what's being posted in the slides
give caption ideas
give prompts if you used AI to create the content
just give the clippers as much information as you can so it's as easy as possible for them to create the content
b) the contract
most founders don't do this, but this is a really beneficial thing to do for your app. create a formal contract with ChatGPT. put it on Tally or any other contract signing website where you can make your creators sign the contract before they start posting content for you.
you can put it at the top of your brief so that when content does blow up, you have a lot more control over it.
here is an example contract template: creator contract template
you can put things like:
you have the right to use the content that they create in ads in the future if you want.
a minimum time of keeping the content up on pages and saying that if they delete it before that, the payment might not be officiated.
you can give payment information of how much you're paying CPMs, max pay etc so it's clear to the content creators as well and what they're getting into, even thoughit's pretty public information.
A clause on account ownership that you can own the account if the videos are doing really good and the account is growing like crazy.
you can also put terms on creators to not work for competing apps or software.
by making creators sign a contract like this before they start posting for you, you can protect yourself in the future and also benefit yourself a lot.
it also makes it very clear to the creator what they're getting into, so you guys don't get into a fight later on. you also avoid a lot of legal headaches if things were to get messy.
c) content creation course
this is the most important part of your entire brief. go on Notion and create modules that people can go through, explaining A to Z how to get started, set up an account, post, and submit their posts on the content rewards campaign. don't leave anything out.
give details about the campaign

teach them how to set up an account w/ profile picture and bio
how to warm the account up
how to create the content w/ videos of you showing them how to create the content. give all the links to all the things that they need
how to manage the content to push the app further
how to submit the videos into the campaign
I made a template for you guys that you can copy and paste and add your own info for your app: Content Creation Modules
it will cut your time by 50%
d) build an influencer web version of your app
this is one of the most underrated things that nobody does, and if you do it, it will set you ahead of everybody. creators shouldn't need to download your app, create an account, or do any of that to make content about it.
you can just set up a web version of your app where influencers can put in their personal inputs and get a customized output of your app, a screenshot, a video, the aha moment of your app that we talked about earlier, and put it as an overlay on their videos and slideshows.
this is one of the most frictionless methods of letting creators create customized events in your app that they can turn into viral content.
I made an example influencer web version app for you guys so you can take inspiration from this and use it and build up a version of your app.
here: https://influencerwebappexample.pages.dev/
take the aha moments of your app and make it easy for people to make hundreds and thousands of versions of that.
e) a do's and don'ts page
give examples of what your posts should look like and what to avoid. create videos that have elements that you don't want your clippers to replicate, like, for example, having the captions really up, using a different type of template or logo, or way of editing.
give the correct example of how it's done so that people understand how to do it properly and avoid the silly mistakes.
launch on Content Rewards
1 | the agency route
we have over 2 million Clippers and UGC creators on our platform, so when you launch a campaign on Content Rewards, hundreds and thousands of people will join your campaign just from the dashboard alone.

agencies on Content Rewards handle everything from doing outreach, finding creators for you, fulfilling and managing your campaign.
most of these agencies have hundreds and thousands of creators already who they can push to your campaign, create a Discord, nurture them, train them up to fulfill your campaign properly so you don't even have to worry about anything.
if you feel like making the brief will be a ton of work, you can work with the verified agency on Content Rewards that will make all of the brief for you.
book a call with us here, and we will connect you to the best agency that suits your app:
https://contentrewards.com/brand
2 | self-fulfill
if you want to completely self-serve, not work with an agency
manage everything from creating the brief, launching the campaign, fulfilling the campaign, all on your own. you can also do that.
for that, here is an article that my co-founder at virality wrote on how you can find your own creators on top of the creators you will get from Content Rewards to fulfill your campaign.
train your creators on discord
check the article to see how to set up your Discord. once you have all your creators on Discord:
host bi-weekly calls and answer all their questions.
open personalized tickets and coach them on how to make the best content for you.
Have a category where all of your resources are lined up.
Have a top-performing category where you show the top-performing videos, and creators can post about their payouts.
A leaderboard channel where you post the weekly highest earner/view accumulator.
this helps motivate creators to post more and get better. when creators see other people winning, it motivates them also to work harder on winning.
creator rewards program
on top of CPMs, pay creators a bonus on milestones hit. for example, every hundred downloads from their custom affiliate link, you give them $100.
Sometimes creators will grind harder for the $100 milestone bonus than the passive CPM, because milestones just feel like something they can target and win.

Design the program to best fit your app so the best creators always earn more and you can keep them on your campaign for months.
keep enriching the machine
to sustain 300-400 million views per month, you need to constantly enrich the brief with new angles, updated hook, fresh content bank, etc. etc. constantly work on helping creators find new viral formats. if creators are winning, you are going to win,
opening into new markets is also a really beneficial thing. redistributing already viral content in German, French, and Spanish, opens up huge markets to your app.
formats that are already proven but are now just being repurposed in a new language, so they're practically new.
conclusion
this is the ultimate playbook on how to literally scale your app to six figures in 2 months
the old playbook was running ads and hiring influencers for a ridiculous amount of money.
the new model is running an organic marketing campaign on Content Rewards, where CPMs can get as low as $0.30 to $0.16, and the highest is usually something from $1 or less.
there's literally no loss here, because traditional CPMs are anywhere from $20 to $30.
through the max payout system, even if a video blows up and gets you a ton of views, it'll only cost you $300 to $600 or however much you set your max payout to.
the days of paying influencers for posts that don't convert are over. now you only pay for videos that actually generate you views.
if you also want to consistently hit 400 million views per month and add a few more $100,000 to your MRR, then launch your campaign on Content Rewards here:
